These are blended highlights. These will alter the overall look of your unit. The base color on the first unit is a #4 (Medium Reddish Brown) and the highlight color is a #27 (Strawberry Blonde). The base color on the second unit is a #4 (Medium Reddish Brown) and the highlight color is a #30 (Light Auburn) and #27 (Strawberry Blonde).
Blending two colors together will give you different color completely, rather then streaks which will just add bold (spot) highlights.
How are blended highlights done?
Each color strand is alternated and tied onto the base of the cap.
These highlights we call streaks. These highlights will add spots of color throughout the unit. The first unit is a #1b (Off-Black) and #30 (Light Auburn). The second unit is a #4 (Medium Reddish Brown) and #27 (Strawberry Blonde).
How are streaked highlights done?
Small circles of the highlight color is ventilated onto the cap. To give you chunky streaked highlights rather then a blend.
